Good news! Ride On Curlin, who finished second behind California Chrome in the 2014 Preakness Stakes (gr. I), has been entered to run in a six-furlong allowance race on Thursday at Oaklawn Park!
The son of Curlin has not run since being eased to a last-place finish in the Belmont Stakes (gr. I), but he has been training steadily at Oaklawn for his return, most recently breezing five furlongs in 1:04 4/5 on January 4th. Trained by William Gowan and owned by Daniel Dougherty, Ride On Curlin has drawn post six in a field of twelve and will be ridden by Jon Court.
