Flashback, a highly-regarded maiden winner from the barn of Bob Baffert, turned in an official workout this morning for the first time since missing some training at the end of last year.
The son of Tapit was training toward a start in the Sham Stakes (gr. III), held last Saturday at Santa Anita, but was forced to miss a key workout after appearing off in his hind end. Fortunately, no injuries were discovered, and the colt was cleared to resume training.
This morning's workout, conducted at Santa Anita Park, was five furlongs in distance. Flashback recorded a time of 1:00.40, the ninth-fastest of fifty-three at that distance.
No next-race plans have been announced.
