It is currently two minutes until post time for the Ogden Phipps Handicap (gr. I) at Belmont Park. The complexion of the race has changed seriously due to the fact that Unrivaled Belle, expected to be the second choice, was scratched by the stewards. I'm not sure why yet, but I will post the reason as soon as I find out why.
Of the five runners remaining, Awesome Maria is the 4-5 favorite. Life at Ten is the second choice at 4-1, with Payton d'Oro 9-2, Absinthe Minded 5-1, and Super Expresso 6-1.
