It's now just two minutes to post time for the Marathon. Giant Oak is now the 4-1 favorite. Although this race has no championship implications, it's still a good race to watch.
They are loading into the gates now. . . I'll post the results in a moment.

Well, Eldaafer proved just how good a stayer he is by merely outgrinding his opponents to win the Marathon by two lengths over Prince Will I Am and Gabriel's Hill.
There is an inquiry into the order of finish, however. It appears that runner-up Prince Will I Am drifted out and interfered with Romp, causing him to nearly clip heels. A. U. Miner is also part of the inquiry.
However, Eldaafer is not included in the inquiry and is the winner.
