The biggest upset in the history of the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf occured tonight when 45-1 shot Shared Account outdualed Midday to win the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf by a neck.
The upset guarantees a pick six carryover for tomorrow's card, a carryover which will like be of astronomical proportions.
The final race of the night is the Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic, which is currently thirteen minutes away. To be run under the lights for the first time, the favorite at the moment is Blind Luck at 8-5. Life at Ten is 3-1, Havre de Grace 7-1, and Unrivaled Belle 6-1.
If Blind Luck wins this race, she is the Champion 3yo filly. She will likely be the champion even if she loses the race.
However, if Havre de Grace was to win here tonight, it would re-open discussion as to who will be the champion. Havre de Grace defeated Blind Luck in the Fitz Dixon Cotillion Stakes last time out and a decisive victory over her rival today could earn her the Eclipse award.
Therefore, a lot is riding on the results of tonight's Ladies' Classic.

The race is now only eight minutes away. Blind Luck has risen just a tad to 9-5, as has Life At Ten, who is currently 7-2.
Acting Happy at 20-1 is interesting. She ran a good third to Blind Luck and Havre de Grace in the Alabama Stakes, and has credential good enough to warrant consideration here.

Post time is now just two minutes away. Blind Luck is once again 8-5. Whoever wins, this is going to be a great race.
The long stretch should help Blind Luck's chances. But the big question that I am asking is can Havre de Grace hold off Blind Luck again? She just keeps getting better and better, it's entirely possible that she could get the jump on the Kentucky Oaks winner and pull off a mild upset.
They're loading into the gate!
