Big Drama went wire-to-wire in the Breeders' Cup Sprint to score at 5-1, winning the six furlong event in 1:09.
Apparently, drawing the rail did not affect him, for he was able to sit several paths off the rail through out the race and won by a length. Unfortunately, Atta Boy Roy was eased and did not finish the race. He appears to have suffered an injury to his right front leg.
The next race is the impossible-to-decipher Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint, where fourteen evenly-matched horses will battle through five furlongs of pure speed. The favorite is currently Silver Timber at 3-1.

Zenyatta is currently 4-5 in the wagering for the Breeders' Cup Classic. Lookin at Lucky is 4-1, and Blame 7-1.
This is more than a race for the $2,700,000 winner's share of the purse. This is a race for Horse of the Year; a race for a place in history.

Silver Timber is still the 3-1 favorite. One of the fillies, Rose Catherine, is the 5-1 second choice. This is the first race of the $818,000 carryover pick 6.
Of the longer odds horses, I do believe that Due Date has a good chance at 18-1. He was closing in fast in the Woodford Stakes and wasn't very badly beaten.

Silver Timber is a very pretty horse. . . he looks very calm. California Flag looks good. . . I don't think that he will be able to repeat here, but he should help set the pace.
