BREEDERS' CUP UPDATE SATURDAY #2

1:01;

I'll be honest. I did not believe that Pluck was capable of winning the Juvenile Turf. However, he looked like a future star rallying on the far outside to score by over a length.

Rough Sailing slipped and fell on the first turn, but both horse and rider were okay.

The next race is the Breeders' Cup Sprint. Smiling Tiger has opened as the 4-1 favorite, with Atta Boy Roy at 9-2. Big Drama, Girolamo, and Wise Dan are all 6-1.

1:10;

Eighteen minutes to post now.

I don't think that Pashito the Che is going to win, but I do think that he is underbet at 29-1. He ran very well in his last start and has a good chance at hitting the board.

1:19;

Atta Boy Roy looks very calm in the post parade. It's about eight minutes to post time.

It is currently four hours and twenty-four minutes until post time for the Classic. In my opinion, Secretariat's thirty-seven year old track record could be in danger.

Do you think Zenyatta will win? Who do you like in the rest of the Breeders' Cup races?

1:26;

Two minutes away from post time! This is going to be an exciting race; an all-out battle to the wire with the best sprinters in the country fighting for the Eclipse award for Champion male sprinter. Whoever wins will likely recieve the award.

Unfortunately, the news has arrived that Rough Sailing fractured his shoulder when he fell in the Juvenile Turf and will have to be euthanized.

1:30;

It's post time and the horses are loading into the gate! Girolamo is the favorite.
