Here's one more three-year-old that you might want to keep your eye on -- Striding Ahead.
Sent off as the 3-1 second choice in a mile and a sixteenth turf maiden special weight at Tampa Bay Downs, Striding Ahead strode right to the lead. Then, he never looked back.
Challenged on the far turn by heavy favorite Fifth District, Striding Ahead turned him back with ease before drawing off to win by seven or eight lengths. Trained by Bill Mott and ridden by Luis Garcia, Striding Ahead appears to have an immense amount of talent. I will be greatly anticipating his next start.
