For the eighth consecutive year, Adena Springs recieved the Eclipse award as Champion Breeder. It came as no surprise, for runners bred by Adena Spring earned more than $13,000,000 this year, well ahead of every other breeder.
It was a rather close vote, with Claiborne Farm and Adele Dilschneider finishing just fourteen votes behind Adena Springs.
