Dullahan breezes, Blue Grass Stakes next on the agenda

This morning, Dullahan turned in his final workout for the $750,000 Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I), breezing five furlongs in a bullet :57 2/5 over the Keeneland Polytrack.

Winner of the Breeders' Futurity (gr. I) here at Keeneland last fall, Dullahan's workout was by far the quickest of the day for the distance, as the next fastest breeze was only :58 4/5.

This year, Dullahan has made only one start, finishing a fast-closing second in the Palm Beach Stakes (gr. III) over the Gulfstream Park turf course. Trained by Dale Romans, the colt is following the same race schedule as Romans-trained Paddy O'Prado did in 2010, beginning with the Palm Beach Stakes and concluding with the Blue Grass Stakes.
